Sabrina's new album ‘Short n’ Sweet’ dropped August 23rd, and instantly became popular. Her album also spent 3 continuous days at No.1 on Billboard 200.

This album presents her unique mix of music genres and her choice in lyrics reflecting her feelings and experiences in her own special way. Throughout the album she brings an upbeat summer-filled feeling, it displays her sense of humor, “turning romantic roadkill into flippantly brilliant pop” says the Rolling Stone. But even through her music videos her humor is obvious; a story line of her murdering a man in an elevator, then getting arrested and then bailing out of prison. Not even to mention her most recent music video featuring Jenna Ortega which excited the media.

Sabrina is known for her iconic singing style, where she simply moves through ranges of emotions. She also explores different genres, ranging from pop and even to elements of R&B or indie. With each song, Sabrina delivers an impressive vocal range and also connects with her audience on a deep level, making the album ‘Short n’ Sweet’ an enchanting pathway of self-discovery and energetic empowerment.

Recently at the VMA’s Sabrina performed some of her new songs: ‘Please, Please, Please’, ‘Taste’ and ‘Espresso’. This caused commotion throughout social media because of her confusing relationship between Shawn Mendes and Camila, who were in the crowd as she performed. Although her performance was surprising, it was also questionable. During her performances she had performers of an alien and astronauts behind her, and at the end of her song ‘Taste’ she kissed the alien and then began her next song. Many people found this performance confusing, even Britney Spears commenting on the whole thing as “weird” and not understanding why it was like this. Despite all this, Sabrina still had an iconic performance at the VMA’s which will be remembered for years to come.

We all know her eminent style consisting of platform shoes, bold colors, heart-cutout tops and mini dresses with short hemlines.
